Manufactured in 1972 in Belgium by FN for Browning. Standard markings and proofs. 22″ blued steel barrel. Factory drilled frame with attached Redfield mount. Grade V scroll engraving on both sides of the frame. Right side has gold inlay deer with a gold border while the left side has gold inlay antelopes with a gold border. Left panel is signed by master engraver “J.M. DEBRUS”. Gold washed trigger. Gloss finished wood stock and forearm with fine cut checkering on both the wrist and forearm. Both have a carved floral outline as well. Metal sling stud on forearm. “BROWNING” marked brown rubber butt pad. LOP: 13-3/4″. Scope rings appear to be factory engraved. Includes attached Redfield 2X-7X scope and factory leatherette luggage case. CONDITION: Metal is fine with 98% + finish remaining. There is a spot of dried grease on the barrel. Wood is very good with a few handling marks and a small stable stress crack at the front of the forearm. Bore is clean overall with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Scope has a light fog.
