First generation SAA manufactured in 1904. Two line company address on the top of the barrel with “41 COLT.” marked on the left side. Standard patent dates with a Colt pony on the left side of the frame. Matching serials on the frame, trigger guard and butt. 4-3/4″ barrel with standard blade front sight and u-notch rear. Six shot fluted cylinder. Mexican style floral scroll engraving with a punch dot background, all over a gray polished finish. Some ends of the scrolls turn into various animal heads (eagle/wolf). Checkered hammer with bird wing feathers engraved on each side. White bone grips. Includes period custom wood display case with green velvet lining. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% or more of its finish. Engraving is still very crisp with no real signs of handling. Grips are excellent. Bore has a clean surface. Rifling is good overall. Hammer is tight. Cylinder has some side-side wobble. Action is crisp with all clicks being present. Wood case has exterior finish wear. CALIBER: .41 Colt. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic. S/N: 254708.
