Manufactured in 1951 for Browning by FN in Belgium. Blued 30″ over and under special steel barrels with low profile Broadway style raised ventilated rib, twin beads, marked as full and full chokes with 2-3/4″ chamber and ejectors. Coined finish box lock action with heavy chiseled oak leaf engraving. The left side features a gold rope border surrounding a forest scene with three gold inlay foxes carrying a duck. The right side features a gold rope border surrounding two dogs in gold with three gold pheasants. Bottom of receiver has gold rope border surrounding two pigeons in gold. Trigger guard features an oak leaf pattern with two doves. Double signed by master engraver Felix Funken. Gold plated single trigger with tang safety barrel selector. Walnut skip line checkered, side panels standard pistol grip stock with after market recoil pad. Matching walnut competition style flared checkered forearm. LOP: 14-1/4″. DAC: 1-1/2″. DAH: 1-1/2″. Weight: 8lbs. CONDITION: 95% original barrel blue. 80% action finish starting to grey with gold dulling. 90% varnish remaining on custom stocks with light handling dings and bruises.
