Manufactured in 1974. Frame and barrel present with their typical markings. 9-1/2″ barrel with standard blade front sight and adjustable u-notch. Six shot fluted cylinder. Bright, polished finish with punch dot background floral scroll engraving on the frame, barrel and cylinder. Coverage is near 100% on the frame. About 60% on the cylinder, with 40% on the barrel. Signed by Don Cassavant on the ejector rod housing and dated “1997” on the bottom of the trigger guard. The commissioning party’s name appears to be etched on the bottom but has slowly started to wear away. Factory oiled wood grips with silver/black phoenix medallions. Includes a custom red velvet lined wood display case made by Charles Donlon and custom Charles Duffy cleaning tools. The tools are engraved in the same pattern as the gun. CONDITION: Metal is excellent with only a few minor scrapes and scratches. Wood grips have a few handling marks and scratches. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Cylinder face is clean of any powder or residue. Hammer is tight. Cylinder has some side-side movement. One chamber likes to hold up, but the others seem to function flawlessly. Tools are excellent. Case has light exterior handling marks and scratches. Interior is excellent. CALIBER: .22 LR. FFL STATUS: Modern. S/N: 63-29443.
