Receiver manufactured circa 1952 with an unmarked 23″ barrel that was added at a later date. Slotted muzzle break is attached to the muzzle. Professionally redone, blued finish with jeweled bolt. Custom walnut stock with fine cut checkering on the wrist and forearm. Right hand shooter check piece with inlays on each side of the action, bottom of the wrist and right side of the butt. Capped pistol grip and forearm with metal sling swivels. Black rubber butt pad. Weatherby Imperial 2-3/4×90 scope sitting on Buehler mounts. LOP: 13-1/2″. This is a possible Roy Weatherby custom build. CONDITION: Metal is excellent with about 95% blue. Light surface rust on the barrel. Wood has light handling marks and scratches. Bore is clean overall with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. CALIBER: .416 Rigby. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic. S/N: 217576.
