Manufactured circa 1950’s in Belgium by FN. This is not a Browning retailer marked gun and appears to be a European commercial gun. Standard Belgian proofs on the frame, slide and barrel. 2″ barrel with blade front sight and v-notch rear. Polished frame and gold washed slide. Fine floral engraving with animals on the slide (Tiger, Mongoose, Leopard and Cheetah). The right side of the slide has the engravers initials “JVB”. Mother of pearl grips. “FN” marked nickel finished magazine. Leatherette clamshell type case with a red exterior and blue velvet lined interior. CONDITION: Metal is excellent overall with about 90% factory finish remaining. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Magazine has light finish wear. Case has a worn interior and exterior. CALIBER: .25 ACP. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic. S/N: 64371.
