Manufactured in 2010 in Japan for Browning. Made for Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Banquets, this example is marked “2011 BANQUET EDITION 340 OF 450”. 26″ barrel otherwise sports typical manufacture markings in addition to “ROCKY MOUNTAIN ELK FOUNDATION”. Factory drilled for a scope mount. Coin finished frame with factory engraved elk on the right side of the frame and “packers” hauling out a shot elk on the left, all in gold inlay and surrounded by a scroll+S45/V-shaped border. Factory high gloss finished stock and forearm with laser cut checkering. Black metal sling studs and black rubber butt pad. Includes serial matching box with lock, scope rings, base and manual. CONDITION: Excellent with 99% finish remaining. Wood has a few handling marks. Bore is bright and crisp. Appears to be unfired from the factory. Fine mechanics. Box is excellent.
